Last KCB weekend of 2017

Very cold this weekend

 Super Moon         and                  Sunset 

Went to dinner at Burdines and was sad to see that Hurricane Irma

finished off the old Faro Blanco Oceanside.

Mostly rested this weekend as we are still not feeling the best.

I did stay up to watch the ball drop.

Total Eclipse Day 2017

One hand is the sun and the other is a darker version

with sun, earth, moon, eclipse and dark

We only get to see 80% of the eclipse from our location.

Selfie since I don't have glasses to wear.

We all used a welding helmet lens to view the eclipse.

I used my regular camera and the lens to try to take a photo.

This one came out. Very hard to hold all that and hold still to not blur the photo.

This one was the best.

Sun or Moon

Bike ride to sunset park after Happy Hour.

Now off to sit and watch the Moon on

the other side of the island.

Even though we could not see the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. 

The moon was very bright and beautiful reflecting 

off the water.

Super Moon

The moon was changing as

we were driving home so

I could not take pictures until

after we were home.

Here are a few good ones.

A rare phenomenon, when a supermoon combines with a lunar eclipse for the first time since 1982. The next supermoon eclipse will occur in 2033
