Rocky in the Keys

 

The kids spent a few days with us in the keys.

We took Rocky on his first boat ride. He enjoyed the wind in his face

as well as the sun and watching the birds.

The kids spent a day in Key West and Rocky and I chilled out.

He was not a fan of the pool but we did get him in the water.

Oh Boy Truck Upgrade

 

On our way from Naples to the Keys we stopped by

to help Johnathan out his new purchase.

This was a big deal for him. He really wanted a chevy

but he insisted on a full size bed and 2500 ( like his Momma ) and

2 door black pick-up. At this time of the year, Not much to choose from.

Walking around we Bobby and I spotted this truck. The

sales guy didn't even know it was on the lot.

It ended up being the winner.

Happy for him and we are back on the road.

Holiday Visitors

 

Welcome Rocky

So happy to get to see him. Kristina's sends me lots

of pictures and I try to talk to him on the phone.

He is a very sweet boy.

We sent a day out at OK Corral Gun Club

We even made some Christmas Cookies

Mahi and Cards

 

Johnathan has a Christmas Party and wanted to

use my Christmas Steeler Santa hat. Mahi

was quick to run off with it so Johnathan put it

on him and sent me this picture.

Mahi had to come over while Johnathan's A/C

is getting worked on so I could't help but get a photo.

He is such a good boy.

Missing package

 

I was waiting for my order and with everything going

on, kinda forgot about it. Since I have been working late 

and the sun goes down so early now, it's dark when I get home.

Well today I made it home before dark. This is what I see

when I pulled into the driveway.

Hospital

This is not how I thought the day was going to go.

Day started normal, so I thought anyway. I didn't feel bad or

anything. Went into the bathroom to rinse out my cup and could not

lift up my arm. It was just hanging at my side. So I went to tell Bobby

who was outside the shop. He made some calls and took me to the Ortho Dr.

We both thought it was my neck. Afraid I damaged a nerve. They checked me

in and took Xrays of my neck. While in the waiting room Dr came in said it's

not my neck. Did a general evaluation and said to go to the ER now.

Went to ER, walked in while talking to the nurse at check-in station.

My left side of my face dropped and it was hard to talk.

" Stroke Alert in the Fish Bowl"

People seemed to appear from everywhere and before I could think

I was in a CT scan and had IVs in both arms.

They gave me the TPA injection.

Four days later I was able to go home.
