Sandy is Gone

So Hurricane Sandy is gone and left me with a few ripped up screens and now I just hope it will not mess up the trip plans for Friday.

We did go early vote today just in case we have travel issues. It took 1 1/2 hours we got in line at 7am.

Something New

 

I am trying to work today. My great husband bought me a new keyboard and chair.

Now does this mean he loves me or needs me to work. LOL

I think both apply in the case.

Girl Time

Today Kristina  and I painted our nails today. I am still shaky but did my best to do Gator nails for her. She painted her toes.

I just did black and red swirls, glitter and faded ones. Not really good but it felt good to play with polish again.

ER - Again

Still flu like sick - cannot eat or drink. Back to the Dr. who sent me to the ER again.

12 hrs in the ER

Test: CT scan - Blood work - Spinal Tap - Flu Test - West Nile test

end diagnoses: Disc Disease, Degenerative, Cervical Bronchitis and Vomiting.

Tests Negative  and more / new meds and go back to therapy.

This is crazy and I can't stand being sick. I have the best husband is the world. He has been very good to me. I am writing this down just in case I forget. LOL ~ Love You

He even bought me a carmel sundae at McD.. on the way home. I could only he half of it down but it was good.

Flu ~ Really

Back to the Dr today - Now they say I have the flu.

So back in bed and now added tamaflu to med list.

My Baby Boy is 20

 

 

 

 

I was not feeling well at all and Johnathan had to go get his own Birthday cookie. We just hung out and watched football with some family and friends. Sweet and Simple.

Mitt Romney Rally

I really wanted to go see Mitt Romney since he was in our town but due to my neck issues I knew I could not stand out outside for hours. But our friends at Tin Fish in Traditon got a visit from Mitt.
Very Cool and here is the photo in today's paper. Note the beautiful sign in the back. : )

Sore Neck and Football

Update: I am getting better each day. My neck is sore but good news I can just sit and watch football today. My wonderful hubby has been a big help to me. Today he is entertaining friends and family and cooking us great football food.

Neck/Arm: I have a ruptured and bulged disc in my neck which is pinching a nerve that is making my arm hurt and hand/fingers go numb. I will start therapy for a few weeks and then wait and see what happens. This has frustrated me has it is hard to type and write. Not to mention my crafts and nails.

I am able to paint them just not freehand designs or even stamping so this is what I came up with for my steeler nails this week. Thank goodness for crackle polish. At least I can do that.

MRI - Oh My

Well all the arm pain is caused by my neck pain which really did not seem to bother me as much as my arm and numb hand. I have issues so I will get off the meds and try therapy and see what happens.
So wish me luck and I hope my hand returns to normal soon as I have alot of work to catch up on.


Today (10-3) was in the ER (diagnosis; Cervical Radiculopathy) and sent to get an MRI. Then the following day to see a neurologist. Dr. Viola - Which says disc rupture and disc bulge. Try therapy and look into surgery options. Not a clue what I am going to do. Just wait and see.

Pain Now Severe

Follow up at Dr. today - not getting any better. Pain is running down my arm and hand still numb.
More shots and meds, not sure if any are working.
