Busy day Rocky is ready for bed

Happy Independence Day Weekend

 

We had a fun filled long weekend

since the 4th was on Thursday.

We started with a paddle board trip and the 

park. This was a challenge with the windy weather.

We are working on getting Rocky comfortable

in his new kayak.

Watching sunset and then Fireworks is

always the best. Love Marathon Fireworks

they are the best !

Next up is fishing...

Kristina did a great job landing a Mahi

Not so sure about holding it for a photo. LOL

But it made it into the cooler.

Chief Bobby did a great job cooking for us.

And yes, Rocky did make his first outing on the kayak.

Fun and Fishing with Kristina

 Due to open house weekend in the Stuart house 

Kristina spent the weekend with us and we had a paddleboard

adventure and went fishing along with playing with Rocky in the pool.

Our 2 hour paddleboard adventure had one of us 

falling off the board. But no major injuries.

I thought we could paddle under the causeway bridge, only 

the current was ripping though. We had to stand on the board and grip

the bridge and pull ourself under and through the other side. Then

paddle fast to the side before we got sucked back through.

OMG that was a workout.

Will wait for slack tide the next time.

Going back under was alot easier.
