39th Anniversary

 

Long awaited Trip

 This trip was planned in 2018 for Sept of 2019 but Hurricane Dorian cancelled that plan.

So it was moved to 2020, then Covid cancelled that date too.

Now in 2021 and the Bahamas opened to travelers.....

Welcome to Exuma

First, I am very happy to be here with so much going on since 2019

I feel this was a needed trip at this point.

Instead of doing a list stuff we kept it simple.

Relax, Soak up Sunshine, Eat, Drink and Repeat.

We did have one day planned - Pig Beach trip which included;

Bahamian rock iguana's ( Allen's Cay )

Bob did great feeding them, me.... I got bit.

Think it was my bright nail polish.

This is the island from "The Bachelor" that Olivia was stranded on.

LOL I would be okay with that, its beautiful.

We snorkeled and played with the stingrays

Now off to feed the pigs at Big Major Cay

The weather was super windy most days but today was

not so bad which made for a fun day island hoping.

We also took a trip on our own into Georgetown

then a water taxi to Stocking Island to eat lunch at Chat N Chill

Great Vacation 

Anniversary Weekend

Happy 35 Years together

We spent the weekend cleaning up concrete and drywall

dust and putting the house back together.

But today we just relaxed in a clean house.

The outside just needs paint. 

Now if we can just pick the right color.

  

We took a boat ride today and the water was amazing.

Look at the beautiful colors and how clear the water looks.

We make each other crazy sometimes but

I cannot image my life without him.

We waited in a crazy long line but they say it's worth it.

Very good food we sampled chicken and pork.
