Week 51

Winter Total Lunar Eclipse

Week 50

This tells you how the weather was this week

COLD

We even had ice here. I know this is nothing

like the weather up north, but really this is

Florida for cried out loud. Ice Really!

It was only 3 nights of the low 30's but

bring on the sunshine, it was 70 today.

This week was work and shopping, shipping and

all that fun Christmas shopping stuff. DH & I

did take the afternoon off again, sort of. Lunch

and work combined but out of the office was a

nice change. Next week is going to but crazy.

Can you believe this? It has never been this cold.

On the news they were showing the steam coming

off the ocean. We have wind chills in the teens.

All we need now is snow. That is one thing I

have not seen, snow in florida. Per the record

books it did happen once this far south, 1970's

Week 49

Me and Tony ~ "Grrreat".

DH & I took the afternoon off from work.

Can you believe it? We went to Orlando

to cheer on our Pop Warner friends, as

they were in the Super Bowl again this year.

They did not win the Championship and I

was sad to see the boys so sad, I almost cried.

They played hard and lost by 2 points :(

After the game we walked around downtown disney

and went to dinner at T-Rex, fun place to eat.

On our way home we stopped at Old Town

to walk around and shop. It really changed

since we were last there. The kids always

enjoyed going, J would ride the go-carts

and both would ride the baby roller coaster

they have. It was a Grrreat Day.

Oh yes it has been in the 30's ~ What's up with that.

Anything below 70 in Florida is just wrong.

What a Game

Just a to post about the game.

Wow - What a game - So happy we won

Ben is awesome as well as the others.

But I could not see us winning without Ben.

I was more worried about his foot then the nose but

maybe it worked in our favor. I think he forgot about

his foot for a while and thank goodness for Troy Polamalu.

I am also happy the Heath Miller is okay.Can you believe

he got up and walked off the field? I can't understand why not

penalty for the hit but I do think the NFL will fine for the hit.

If not then something is wrong.

Week 48

Tree day

I did have the day off and that may never happen again.

Turns out they need me at work. Not sure if that is a

good or a bad thing. But I did get house work done and

ran errands. Got all the Christmas decoration boxes down.

So when the boys got home we went to dinner and then

tree shopping. It was a good night to do so because it was

cold ( mid 40s). Way early for around here but it nicer to get

a tree a be a little cold then hot. We will be decorating all

weekend and maybe into the week. So maybe a completed

photo for next week.

I can't believe they brought me

back photo's. I am so proud of them.

Glad they are all home.

BTW ~ No one touched their junk,

but they did have to go through the

scanner machine.

Weekend Craft Chaos

Okay so I have the house to myself and what do I do?
Make Christmas cards of course. I used my 50% off Michaels
coupon to treat myself to a few new things. Check out the
snowflake punch. It's so cute on cards. Anyway the top left
is the beginning of my mess and the bottom shows the cards
that I made - 22 or so. They are not all finished but this was
a big step. The top right is my new adventure. Copic Markers ~
Your are suppose to be able to color in / shade and blend these
markers. (Not Cheap) I thought I would be able to do my cards
with them but soon found out I need special paper that has to
be ordered and that I would have to learn how to use them first.
So maybe next year. I will make one or too but not 20 to start with.
Anyway ~ This is what I did this weekend besides the usual stuff.

DH and DS are gone for the weekend.

Week 47

This week went by very fast. We cooked our

turkey on the grill this year so how could I not

pick it to be my photo of the week.

It was great and alot easier to cook.

Or maybe because I did not cook it. LOL

Anyway it was just the three of us.

So dinner was super simple.

Nook Love

Happy Monday

Just want to share my Nook love.

In a earlier post I wrote about my nook

and how cool it is to be able to download and

read a book in 5 mins. Some of you did not

know what a Nook was. Well here is a photo.

I spent most of the weekend reading and being

lazy. Such a nice change of pace.

Week 46

Oh my another week gone.

We pulled the boat this weekend. It is now

sitting in the side lot waiting for us to clean it up.

The week was full of work but I did enjoy the boat ride.

The air show was going on at the same time so we

were able to see the jets flying around. Pretty cool

to get buzzed by an F16 while cruizin down the causeway.

Week 45

This week I got my new glasses.

What do you think?

Nothing to write about this week either.

Work and more work, the weather has been cold.

Well for FL weather anyway. Johnathan and I

got his class ring ordered along with the cap

and gown and invites.... whatever else was in

the package deal. I am just not ready to think

about Graduation yet. I did start reading

George Bush's new book " Decision Points "

I love my nook - How cool is it to just upload

a book and start reading it in 5 mins.

I ordered it after watching the Hannity interview.

We were driving around this afternoon (sort of working) when I saw the weinermobile.
Of course I made DH turn around so I could get a photo and a whistle. :)

Week 44

Another week and month gone. The year is almost over.

Another week full of work and no play.

Bobby turned 45 this week. We did not

do anything.... it's just another day....as you know

who say's. I think this one was a little hard accept.

None of us are getting any younger.

This week we all (the 3 of us) voted, so my sticker

is the photo for this week.

Week 43

Pretty much a normal week with the exception of my eye again.

It has been blurry and by the end of the day it just hurts.

So off to the Dr. vision changed and another eye infection.

Before everyone yells at me - I did order a pair of glasses.

Per Docs orders I must stop wearing contacts for 18 hours a day.

We will see how I do with the glasses. Maybe at least

a few hours a day. Glasses will be in next week.

them to post. ( think they know I take 300 photos at one game,LOL)

Week 7 Game Photos

The above album is the from the Miami game. These are of Ben... for more photo's HERE.

First of all it was very cool to take Dad and April to the game with us. (1st NFL game)
Iam glad we got the extra ticket's for Johnathan and Girlfriend.
They even got a football during pre-game warm-ups.
Rain, Sun, Wind we had it all. Let's just say it was not a good hair day.

Tailgating was a bit of a challenge due to the rain but it all worked-out.
Meet up with friends and meet some new ones. The view from the
upper level was better than I thought. Kinda neat to see above
the players. The net was making me a little crazy. The cable,
net or goal post seemed to be in my photo's and sometimes it
would focus on that and not what I wanted it to. Half time
was awesome - the Golden Knight's parachute team landed on
the field. I don't know how they were able to with the wind
whipping like it was. One or two had a rough landing.
A win is a win and I am happy we won.

Game Time

We will be there !

Well thanks to some great friends is has all worked out.

Dad, April, Johnathan and his girlfriend we be joining us at the game.

I should be a great time. Johnathan and his girlfriend will be not

sitting with us, they aren't complaining as they will be in the lower level 10 yard line.

The rest of us will be way up high in the upper level opposite side - end zone.

I am just happy to be there,I will post my pictures tomorrow.

Week 42

So Dad and I took a friend of mine and her daughter out on the jet ski's.
Sweet, four hours (no work ) and cruisin up the intercoastal.
We went from Stuart to Jupiter and back. Great time and
I even got some air time. Nothin beats a wake from a 40 - 50' Yacht.
