Week 52

My photo of the week is us on Christmas Day. I set up the camera timer and the
boys allowed one shot. They are such a pain but the photo came out great.

Thanks to the Duris Family ~ We had a great time it was worth the trip

just to watch the game with you guys. We couldn't have asked for a

more exciting game to watch .

Week 51

This is my photo of the week. We woke up from Dad's house

to see snow on the ground. We are enjoying our quick weekend

getaway and the snow was a bonus this morning.

We hope to see Kristina tomorrow and then back home on Monday.

Cards

Well I got my cards done. Took them to work today

so I could mail them out ... and forgot the stamps.

So I will try again tomorrow.

I made only a few different kinds this year and not as fancy.

I really need to start this project earlier.

But I hope everyone likes them. Here is you sneak peak.

Week 50

Well Monkey and I have had a busy week. Between my eye and monkey's tests we have been to the doctors alot this week. Still working on the Christmas decorations. I will not be putting everything up that I normally do, just not enough time too. But the tree is up and here is my photo for this week. Monkey sitting under the tree as we decorated it. He loves the tree.

Eye Update

All is good with my eye and no change in my sight.

Still a -10 but that is good that I had no increase.

Week 49

Red Eye

So I have been MIA on by blog and have 200 e-mails in my in box for good reason.
Late Tuesday night my eye ball started to swell up. I still had my contacts in so the first thing was try to get it out. It took me at least 30 mins. to get it out. The only flat part was too small for me to pitch the contact and not get my swelled up part of my eye that was forming around the contact. Totally gross and scared me, but after I got the lense out I put ice on it and fell asleep.
I went first thing in the morning to the doctor who said I have a viral infection in my left eye.
No contact in that eye for one week. Nice! This is very hard for me since without my lense I am legally blind. Yes I cannot even see the big "E" in fact I can only see blobs of light. I drove to the doctor with one eye taped shut and home. DH had to go get my RX for me. I had a follow up vist the following day and the Dr. agreed that I could wear my contacts (both) to drive only. So other than work I really have not done much on the computer.

I did take one photo of my eye the morning after, I wish I took one that night It would be alot easier to explain. Note this is 70% improved from that night.

Week 48

What a busy week but thanks to Johnathan's help here is our Thanksgiving Dinner for 3.

Week 47

This is the first week that I have not

taken one photo at all this week.

So I took a photo of my new book I bought on Friday.

Boring week - nothing to say, I worked I cleaned I did nothing.

I will try better next week.

Week 46

I only took a few photos this week and this one is the best.

I tried to take a photo of the night sky.

Night time photos are so hard to take, but the

sky was so pretty I had to try.

Week 45

This whole week was Homecoming/Spirit week at school. I have other photo to post once I get

them together. Like Neon Day, Tacky Day and whatever the other days were. Anyway, so

Sat. was the dance so this photo is my photo of the week since my DS looks so handsome.

But this photo below really should be the photo of the week. As all week long I was told

that J is just going with friends and no big deal no date or anything like that. Okay I

think nothing of it. Then his friends arrive and or I did go pick up a few of them myself.

They went out to dinner and then the dance. I even let him use my truck to drive them all.

He took everyone home after the dance. I blurred the faces as not to upset any parents.

As for me.....I was not able to sleep one wink until he was home.

Week 44

Another busy week, nothing real exciting which could be a good thing.

Evening Out

We are off to dinner and then to the Kravis Center to see Jerry Seinfeld.
We both need the break and I am very happy we decided to go.
