Sandbar Fun

On Saturday - We launched in Stuart and ran out in the big blue sea to Jupiter. It was a little rough and wet run but I still had a blast.

I had a few smack me in the face can't you tell. LOL

I did stop to snap a few pictures.

So then we went to pick up friends and took them to

the Tequesta sandbar which had an event.

It was the 2nd Annual Pon Tiki's Conch Bar Jam

We just hung out for a while and enjoyed the music.

I  will bring a chair next time so we could just sit and enjoy

longer. We cruised around the sandbar a few times  before and

after we picked up our friends. Then after some fun we went out

to play on the water again. Then it was getting late so I let John

drive my PWC back with Bobby. The guys together... I really had

to think about this one. They had a great time and ran both ski's

out of gas. Then it was time for dinner. So off to Shrimper's we

went. We had great food and it was great to catch-up with our old

friends. It's funny how life sometimes gets in the way.

We just picked right up and I hope we don't let years go by again.

Now I have to go wash the PWC's

Friday Nails

This is a lost post since I have not all week so this is just a run down of.....

nothing...

LOL

Lots of work, no play and nail art.

We worked hard all week and

I am taking the weekend of and

going to play on my PWC.

I got a jump on my Patriotic nails.

Using my "Robin" and New "Suess" polishes,

mixed with silver starts and stripes from my nail plates.

Look what came in the mail Wed. it's so cute.

Can't wait to use it.

Since I never posted last weeks nails I will add them to the end

Bug Hole

Today with mixed feelings we have sold the boat. I am not happy or sad just know it's what we need to do for right now. So I will stick with the happy memories and thought you might want see a few layouts and misc. photo's that make me happy thinking about " The Bug Hole "

Craft Fun

I was feeling bad a few weeks ago and went on

a shopping spree (shh don't tell DH) but it came

in last week and I have not played with everything

yet but I hope to do so this week. Above are nail

plates to I can stamp designs on my nails.

24 plates from MASH nails for 12.99 and I got

a free shipping code from another ladies blog site.

Yes but they are:

I an sure no one get this but me.

The stamps are Magnolia stamps and they

can now be bought in USA direct.

Leave it to me to fall in love with cute characters from

Canada. I have bought a few here and there from 3rd party

dealers but now you can get them directly from the company.

They are not cheap so I got the mini ones to try.

OMG ~ Break out the magnifying glasses.

They are between 1.5 and 2" tall.

I could not wait so I colored a test set above.

Then I found another supply company in Miami.

They have a good supply of craft stuff I like and

had good prices so I got a few stamps from them too.

I will save them for another day.

I think I am good for a while, so if you get

a card soon you will know why.

Father's Day 2012

Happy Father's Day !

We took the afternoon off to play on the water.

Two days in a row, how awesome. I have the

best hubby ever. Now if he would just smile

I got to play this afternoon. Our friends have company who wanted to play on the sea doos so how could I say no. LOL We had a blast and then we went out for dinner. Great Deal in my book.

Work or play

We worked at home all day today. It was a yucky day, raining on and off all day. So once my work was done it was time to play. So using " off the shoulder " and  "mojito madness" Essie nail polish oh a pinch of black and white and what do you get?

Nail update

Work is a little more fun with my funky nails.

I did get alot of remarks this week, from the bank lady

taking my deposit through the window to customers to

the lady at lunch today while I was eating. LOL

So I guess these ones are winners.

I painted them on Monday and they did last all week.

I better come up with something cool for next.

Tropical Leopard

I needed to relax a little so this is what I did. What do you think ? I started with yellow, needing something cheerful but it was boring so I added a orange fade on the tips and I could not stop so added some coco color leopard prints and made my ring finger tiger with glittler overlay. My photos are not the best ( phone camera ) but this just might be my favorite so far.

Water Play

Late post but better late then never.

We finally got out on the water. It was a Memorial Day weekend and Johnathan was fishing in the tournament so we went out on the PWC's to play. Along the way we saw some friends human and animals. The best part of the day was to see 3 or 4 manatees swiming around the sandbar. I tried to get some photo's but I did not want to get too close either.

I did paint my nails a faded blue with glitter ring finger. The water was a very pretty blue which is not always the case in our area. Normally you see this pretty blue south of us. The fishing was not too good for the tournament and Johnathan and buddies did not get on the board but it was a beautiful day to be out on the water. Just what I needed.
